RH Freight to expand sales organisation

In its largest ever recruitment drive, RH Freight, which has a branch in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, is now advertising for a further 31 freight account managers for its UK branch network to be in place by June 2008.

The move represents a £1 million investment in training and development costs. RH will increase the number of dedicated account management staff from around 80 to over 110. Each freight account manager provides a single point of contact for all a customers freight requirements from quotation to booking to managing the job through to destination.

Ian Baxter, Managing Director of RH explains the move: “There is no doubt that we are operating in a tough trading climate … as are our customers. However, this recruitment process is an essential part of our long term business strategy.

“We believe that in order to meet our ambitious growth targets over the next five years we need to invest in new sales and account management now. We are able to do this off the back of a very successful 2007. Our aim is to continue to grow our business based around three core tenets: personal service, consistent quality throughout Europe and competitive pricing”

RH Freight has been established in Bristol for over 8 years and covers the whole of the South West and Wales, including the Gloucester and Swindon area.

More details of the new vacancies can be found at www.rhfreight.com.
